Abby a New York native, has always had a love for dance. Her dance journey started at the age of 6 by training in classical ballet, tap, and jazz. Her first introduction to hip hop was growing up in Queens, New York seeing many of the street dancers pop, lock, and break. More “formal” hip hop dance training did not start until college, where Abby obtained her Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnic University and later pursued her Master’s in Business Administration at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Always a lifelong learner, Abby continued her dance training for a short stint on the competitive ballroom circuit in Latin and Rhythm categories including Bachata, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rhumba, Tango, Merengue, and East Coast Swing. However, M.O.M. Crew brought Abby back to her first love – Hip Hop. When she is not dancing with her crewmates, Abby is a Director of Talent and Leadership in Human Resources and she leads a group that provides operational support for Employee Development, Leadership, Management, and Professional Development.
